Despite rumors regarding his serious physical condition, it is claimed in Iran that yesterday Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei carried out a series of senior appointments at the top of the regime. The move raises various assessments regarding its implications – does this step make Iran more dangerous, and if so, to what extent?
Mojtaba Khamenei chose six senior officials in the regime who are supposed to lead Iran's next war. In the same breath, he probably also chose the next candidates for elimination who might find themselves in hell sooner than expected:

Ahmad Vahidi – Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, the most powerful man in Iran, who accumulated immense power during the war.

Mostafa Izadi – Appointed as Vahidi's deputy. A veteran of wars involved in cyber and military technology in recent years.

Ali Abdallahi – Appointed as the new Chief of Staff after managing the country's emergency headquarters and promising a "quick and hard" response to the enemy.

Kioumars Heydari – Appointed as deputy to Chief of Staff Abdallahi. In the past, he threatened to "flatten Tel Aviv and Haifa".

Ali Azmai – A naval officer who spent over a decade in the strategic sector of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, now appointed commander of the Navy.

Hossein Taeb – Former head of the Revolutionary Guards' intelligence arm and Mojtaba Khamenei's right-hand man, appointed as commander of the Basij.
It is worth noting that Mojtaba is not appointing moderates but the most extreme figures in the regime, those who will be most loyal to him. The entire move reflects a stricter and more extreme policy of the senior officials who will manage Iran alongside him. Mojtaba's message is clear: Iran is not giving up and is even sharpening the tone against its enemies, led by the USA and Israel. Is this what will strengthen Iran or will it accelerate the collapse of the regime? Time will tell.
