Rabbi Moshe Maya Denies Support for Government Led by Gadi Eisenkot
Shas Council of Torah Sages senior member Rabbi Moshe Maya firmly denied reports claiming he supports a government led by Yashar! party chairman Gadi Eisenkot, calling the rumors gross falsehoods.

Rabbi Moshe Maya, senior member of the Council of Torah Sages for the Shas party, firmly denied reports suggesting his support for establishing a government led by Yashar! party chairman Gadi Eisenkot.
The unequivocal clarification follows recent political speculation surrounding coalition formation efforts and attempts to link the ultra-Orthodox party to alternative political blocs.
Addressing the matter publicly, Rabbi Maya dismissed rumors of any political contacts, stating that no one had spoken to him about Gadi Eisenkot and noting he had not discussed the government with anyone since election results were released on Tuesday.
The rabbi strongly criticized those responsible for spreading the inaccurate information, describing the reports as entirely baseless fabrications.
"Things are being invented in my name and lies are being published," Rabbi Maya declared, adding a stern warning to the disseminators: "I hold accountable those who write things in my name. This is a gross falsehood, such a thing has never happened where lies are invented in my name."
