Moroccan Teen Found Hiding in Real Valladolid Team Bus Axle
A 17-year-old Moroccan boy survived a perilous journey hidden in the rear axle of a Real Valladolid team bus traveling from Ceuta to mainland Spain.
A 17-year-old Moroccan teenager was discovered hiding in the rear axle of a bus carrying the Real Valladolid football team, surviving a dangerous 100-kilometer journey that included a ferry crossing from Ceuta to Spain.
The youth managed to conceal himself among the rear wheels before the bus boarded the ferry. Once the team resumed travel in Spain near Jerez de la Frontera in the province of Cádiz, players and staff heard unusual noises and shouts from beneath the vehicle, prompting the driver to stop at a service area where the exhausted teenager was found.
Team players and medical staff provided him with water, food, and warm clothing, while checking his condition. Aside from bruises and back pain, he suffered no serious injuries and was able to stand.
Civil Guard officers and an ambulance subsequently arrived at the scene, and the minor was transferred for further medical care and welfare supervision.
Jorge Santiago, vice president of Real Valladolid, described the shock among the delegation members, stating that everyone was completely stunned by the extraordinary ordeal.
