The suspect was initially stopped for a routine check after a strong odor of drugs emanated from his car. Officers discovered the commercial quantity of suspected narcotics during the subsequent search. His name remains under a court-mandated gag order, and his remand has been extended by four days.
According to a law enforcement official, investigators have gathered substantial incriminating evidence despite the suspect exercising his right to remain silent and refusing to unlock his mobile phone. Police are currently working to identify and locate his customer base.
