Military Humvee Stolen from Base in Southern Israel Sparks Investigation
A military Humvee was stolen from the Julis base in southern Israel, triggering a Military Police investigation and heightened security measures amid fears of potential base infiltration.

A military Humvee was stolen from the Julis military base in southern Israel, prompting an immediate investigation by the Military Police Criminal Investigation Division (MPCID). Commanders discovered the vehicle missing during a routine patrol in the reserve unit's maintenance and storage base.
Extensive searches conducted within the base and its surrounding areas yielded no results, raising serious concerns that the stolen vehicle could be used in an attempted infiltration of military camps or training zones. The incident has led authorities to impose a temporary restriction on base leaves and deploy aerial drones for area scanning.
During the search operations, commanders reviewed security camera footage and combed through neighboring military installations. Despite these intensive measures, the vehicle remains unlocated.
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit confirmed the incident, stating that an investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances of the theft. The military stressed that authorities will act decisively to combat the theft of military equipment and prosecute those responsible.
