Milei and Sánchez Trade Barbs as Pop Star Lali Espósito Enters the Fray
Argentine President Javier Milei and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez clash in a public feud involving pop star Lali Espósito, who targeted Milei in her hit song.

Diplomatic Row Intensifies
Argentine President Javier Milei and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez have escalated their ongoing public feud, with pop star Lali Espósito caught in the middle. During a visit to Spain, Milei sharply criticized Sánchez, labeling him a shameful dictator and calling for socialism to be swept away.
Shortly after Milei's remarks, Sánchez took to social media to respond. While traveling to a Socialist Workers Party rally in Burgos, Sánchez posted on X that he was listening to a song by the Argentine singer.
Aprovechando que voy en el coche, camino de Burgos, para escuchar este temazo argentino. ¡Me encanta!
The Musical Protest
The track in question, titled Fanático, is widely known as a critique of the Argentine president, whom Espósito has frequently mocked. The music video features a character bearing a strong resemblance to Milei, complete with exaggerated sideburns.
Origins of the Conflict
Tensions between Milei and Espósito date back to August 2023, following the Argentine primaries. After the singer voiced concern over his political rise, Milei initially claimed he did not know who she was, a snub that inspired some of the lyrics in her latest hit.
