Meta is set to unveil Luna, a new camera-free smart glasses model featuring six microphones and AI integration, aiming to resolve privacy issues.
Meta is reportedly preparing to launch a new line of camera-free smart glasses under the codename "Luna", aiming to address major privacy concerns associated with its current wearable devices. According to a report by The Verge, the upcoming glasses will completely omit the built-in camera, allowing for a much slimmer and lighter design that resembles traditional eyewear.
Focus on Audio and Artificial Intelligence
Instead of a camera, the new Luna models—slated for release in October in popular Clubmaster and Burbank styles—will focus entirely on audio and artificial intelligence capabilities. Equipped with six built-in microphones and high-quality speakers, the glasses will enable seamless voice interactions with Meta AI and the new Muse AI agent.

Ongoing Privacy Debates
