Moshav Family Targeted by Same Burglary Gang Three Times in a Month
A family in the Merhavim Regional Council suffered three burglaries in a month by the same gang, resulting in massive property theft, extensive damage, and stolen vehicles.
A family residing in a moshav within the Merhavim Regional Council has faced an unusual wave of burglaries over the past month, with the same gang breaking into their property three times within a few weeks, causing tens of thousands of shekels in damage and stealing extensive property. During the third incident, the burglars attempted to steal several vehicles and managed to flee with one, which was later located abandoned in an open area near Tarabin.
The ordeal began about a month ago when the perpetrators arrived at the home during morning hours while the family was away. The homeowner believes the break-ins were preceded by surveillance. "They came about a month ago, entered the parking lot, tore down the fence, broke into a tool shed, broke into a vehicle, stole a trailer, and continued to other homes in the neighborhood," the homeowner told Walla. "They caused tens of thousands of shekels in damage."
About two weeks later, the gang returned. "It was the same crew, we can see it is the same squad. Once again during the morning hours, they broke into the guest units on the property, entered the house, and simply destroyed everything. They stole jewelry, gold, computers, and tools from the shed," the homeowner recounted. The stolen items included vehicle keys, and a week ago, the suspects struck for a third time, successfully escaping with a car after attempting to steal multiple vehicles.
