McDonald's Israel has announced the return of in-store birthday parties across its branches, reviving a nostalgic experience for those who grew up in the 1990s and 2000s. The move offers parents an affordable and hassle-free alternative to the increasingly expensive and elaborate children's birthday productions common today.

Affordable Packages and Customization

Under the newly launched service, which can be booked directly through the chain's website, parents can reserve a dedicated party area. The package includes pre-decorated tables with branded balloons, flag banners, custom placemats, and table surprises.

The reservation and decoration package is priced at 200 NIS (excluding branches in Eilat, Ben Gurion Airport, Ein Yahav, and Ir Ovot). Children's meals for the event are ordered in advance at the standard menu prices.

To ensure maximum flexibility, McDonald's allows parents to bring an external entertainer and even bring a birthday cake from home, subject to prior coordination with the branch. At the end of the celebration, the birthday child receives a festive commemorative birthday certificate.

Focus on Convenience for Families

Corinne Ketner, VP of Marketing at McDonald's Israel, commented on the launch:

"As part of expanding the chain's value proposition for families, we identified a growing need for convenient and accessible hosting solutions. Our birthday package provides parents with a holistic solution that saves time and production effort, allowing them to focus on what truly matters—celebrating with peace of mind, without compromising on convenience and quality."

This initiative follows other recent global updates from the fast-food giant. In June, it was reported that McDonald's plans to launch a new summer menu featuring a vanilla-matcha frappe drink, priced at $4.70 (approximately 13 NIS) for a medium size, starting in the UK and Ireland before expanding globally.
