With approximately 25 years of professional experience, Adv. Ashkenazi will head a new department specializing in infrastructure planning, betterment levies, and compensation claims. Kورش & Co. was established earlier this year by former partners of the Fischer firm—Eldad Kورش, Orit Israeli, Tali Salton Yeshua, and Efi Levy. The firm specializes in commercial law, M&A, real estate, urban renewal, litigation, and planning and building, employing some 45 lawyers and five interns. As part of its growth trajectory, the firm recently established a litigation department and is slated to relocate to the Beyond Tower in Givatayim.

Meanwhile, Shufersal is planning to expand its consumer electronics segment. Senior executives of the food retail chain, led by Co-CEO Shlomi Amir, visited the Canton Fair, considered the largest and oldest international trade event in China. Held in Guangzhou, the exhibition provided an opportunity for executives to meet with electronics manufacturers and suppliers, reaching agreements to deepen cooperation.

In corporate social responsibility news, 150 Isracard employees and their family members volunteered at Kibbutz Kfar Aza, helping to build seating areas for the kibbutz educational facilities in collaboration with the 'Alon Ve'Ala' NGO. In addition to volunteering, participants toured the young families' neighborhood, visited the armory, and learned about the October 7 events, as well as the ongoing rebuilding and rehabilitation efforts.

In the energy sector, solar energy company SolarEdge is laying off 200 employees following a series of efficiency measures implemented in recent years.
