The cybersecurity startup Mave has raised $28 million in a funding round led by Red Dot Capital Partners, with participation from Lumir Growth Partners and seed-round investors Dell Technologies Capital and Emerge Ventures, which previously contributed $6 million. The newly secured funds will be allocated toward expanding the company's AI-driven research and development operations, advancing product engineering, and scaling global market penetration.

Leadership and Growth Plans

Founded in 2025 by CEO Raziel Oren and CTO Guy Eshel, both alumni of the Israel Defense Forces' Unit 8200, Mave currently employs over 30 people, primarily in Israel. Oren previously spearheaded go-to-market strategies at Wing Security, while Eshel served as the first employee and later VP of R&D at Alterya until its acquisition by Chainalysis. Following the investment, Mave plans to double its workforce, expand its Israeli development hub, and accelerate international expansion.

AI-Powered Threat Investigation

Modern enterprises typically deploy dozens of disparate security tools. However, during a cyberattack, critical incident data remains fragmented across these platforms, forcing security teams to manually aggregate and analyze telemetry. Mave has developed an artificial intelligence platform that integrates with existing corporate security stacks, harvests relevant data in real time, and correlates the information to deliver a comprehensive attack narrative.

If you do not do a good job in security management, there is a breach. We wanted a complete solution for this field, using technology that would be faster than humans, accurate, and cost-effective, said Raziel Oren, CEO of Mave.

The system automates investigative workflows typically performed by skilled security analysts without duplicating sensitive security data into external repositories. Mave emphasizes its proprietary technological edge over generic large language model implementations, aiming to capture significant market share amid tectonic shifts in the cybersecurity industry.
