Billionaire Matan Adelson Marries Yahav Haliba in Grand Multi-Location Wedding
Matan Adelson, son of billionaire Dr. Miriam Adelson, married Yahav Haliba in a lavish multi-day wedding spanning Timna Park and Jerusalem, featuring a performance by pop star Omer Adam.

The Israeli elite gathered for a spectacular, multi-location wedding celebration as Matan Adelson, the son of Dr. Miriam Adelson—Israel's wealthiest woman—and the late casino mogul Sheldon Adelson, married his partner, Yahav Haliba.
Matan Adelson, who is well-known as the owner of the Hapoel Jerusalem basketball club, tied the knot in a grand production that has captured widespread attention. The celebrations spanned several breathtaking locations across the country, combining urban elegance with dramatic natural landscapes.
From the Desert of Timna to Jerusalem
The multi-day festivities kicked off with a dramatic desert celebration in the south of Israel, set against the majestic sandstone formations of Timna Park in the Arava. The high-end desert production was orchestrated by luxury event planner Tali Yaacobi, who curated every detail of the wilderness experience.
The celebration then moved to Jerusalem, where the couple broke traditional wedding conventions. Instead of a classic tiered wedding cake, the newlyweds opted for a giant chocolate yeast cake (babka). In a sweet highlight of the evening, the couple dusted the massive pastry with powdered sugar together to the cheers of their guests.
A Star-Studded Soundtrack
The absolute highlight of the Jerusalem festivities was a private performance by Israeli pop superstar Omer Adam, who took center stage to serenade the couple and energize the crowd.
This is not the first time Omer Adam has been tapped to provide the soundtrack for weddings of Israel's most prominent families. He previously performed at the wedding of the son of Harel Wizel, owner of the Fox Group, where he sang his live cover of "Lehinase HaLaila" as the couple walked down the aisle.
