The popular entertainment show "The Masked Singer" is returning to television this Saturday with a brand new season packed with surprises and unexpected format changes. For the first time in the show's history, the identity of one of the masked characters will be revealed to the home audience right from the very first episode. In addition to this bold move, the upcoming season will feature a masked trio, alongside a thrilling double reveal during the grand opening night.
The exciting changes extend far beyond the competition rules, bringing a refreshed lineup to the judges' panel. This season, supermodel Bar Refaeli and singer Moshe Peretz are joining the team, sitting alongside returning judges Ofira Asayag, Tzedi Tzarfati, and Shahar Hason. Ido Rosenblum continues to host the hit format, guiding the participants and viewers through the elaborate guessing game.
Behind the Scenes and Panel Dynamics
Ahead of the season premiere, the panel members sat down for an interview with the social media personality "Batatat Kursa" to share their thoughts on the revamped lineup. Ofira Asayag expressed immense enthusiasm for the upcoming episodes, noting, "It's an amazing season with insane A-listers."
Shahar Hason also welcomed Refaeli and Peretz to the table, adding a trademark humorous jab regarding Channel 14's hit show "The Patriots": "> Mandatory panelists, by the way, in every panel, even for the Patriots. Bar and Moshe, my brothers, on Channel 14 it could totally work. You have no idea how well."
Tzedi Tzarfati showered praise on Bar Refaeli, admitting that her sharp instincts and confident demeanor completely caught him off guard. "Bar surprised me a great deal because she is extremely sharp. Her sharpness caught me off surprise. Sharp, with an incredible amount of confidence," Tzarfati shared.
Musical Authority and Ratings Success
Moshe Peretz also earned glowing remarks from his fellow cast members. Ido Rosenblum highlighted the singer's personality, stating, "Moshe is not a stand-up comedian, but he is super funny, super intelligent, and has worked with everyone." Tzarfati added that Peretz will serve as the ultimate musical authority on the panel: "He is sort of the musical authority within the panel. He has the best ear among us."
The high anticipation surrounding the new season builds upon the format's proven track record over recent years. According to ice's annual television ratings for 2025, "The Masked Singer" secured an impressive average of 17.20%, landing safely in seventh place among primetime programs.
