Honoring a memory
Yesterday marked the 29th birthday of the late Mafal Adam, Maayan's sister, who was murdered during the massacre at the "Nova" festival in Re'im on October 7. To commemorate the day, Maayan's mother, Yona Adam, chose to honor Mafal's memory in a special way by hosting a lunch for her close friends, featuring all of her favorite foods and drinks, including traditional mamaliga and bottles of "Blue Nun" wine with gold flakes.
Facing health challenges
Just a day later, the family atmosphere shifted as Adam dealt with health concerns regarding her eldest daughter, Tao. Adam shared that the toddler had to undergo urgent blood tests and will likely require a minor abdominal surgery in the coming week. Adam did not hide her heavy concerns, admitting she spent the night crying out of worry:
"We pulled her out of bed for blood tests, she will probably have to undergo a small surgery next week, I cried because of it all night."
Later, Maayan posted a photo of herself and her daughter at the hospital with the caption, "Who looks more worried?" as she tries to maintain cautious optimism.
