Linor Abargil asks for help after returning to religion: "I can't find myself"

In a direct and open appeal on Instagram, actress and model Linor Abargil shared on Wednesday her desire to return to wearing head coverings. Abargil, who appeared in a video at her home without a wig—a departure from her usual appearance since strengthening her faith—turned to her followers for advice.

In the video, Abargil addressed her audience:

"My beauties, I need advice. I want to wear head coverings, and I can't find myself. It's like I don't know what to buy. Nothing feels right to me. I need a good 'bobo' (head covering base), and I don't have one. I don't know where to buy them. It's like I forgot about this world. And I really want to... and I'm hot. Recommend to me what to buy, where, and how."

This video was uploaded shortly after Abargil published a clip from her podcast, "Between the Drops" ("Bein ha-tipot"). Alongside the clip, which deals with coping with crises, Abargil wrote:

"How busy we are with worries, with fears, with what people will say, with things that in the end are not important at all. Suddenly, everything takes on different proportions. You realize that nothing is taken for granted: not health, not family, not our time here. Sometimes a crisis comes to stop us, to remind us what is really important, and to make us ask ourselves how we want to live the life we have received."

In the shared clip from the episode, Abargil added:

"What a crisis does is it exposes your life. It puts a spotlight on your whole existence, and you start choosing anew. What's crazy is that this happens throughout your entire life. You are constantly not ready to live 'next to life.' There is something about reaching that unity, that encounter with God, which is so powerful that whoever has reached this point is simply not ready not to live."
