Concert ticket prices rose by 8% within a year - these are the popular artists

Concert ticket prices in Israel have risen by an average of about 8% over the past year, 34% of the audience is looking for a concert for the coming week, and the Mediterranean genre continues to lead the concert map in Israel. This is according to the annual concert index of the entertainment platform muzi.co.il, published ahead of Rosh Hashanah. The report is based on an analysis of about 4 million searches on the platform over the past year.

The past year, which was characterized by rounds of fighting and cancellations and postponements of performances, led to a decrease of about 18% in the volume of searches on the site. However, according to muzi data, during periods when concerts were held, the audience returned to the halls quickly. In total, about 1.5 million active users were recorded on the site over the past year.

One of the prominent figures is the spontaneity of the Israeli public: 34% of users look for events taking place within a week. The days with the highest activity are Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Ticket prices for selected parallel concerts have risen by an average of 8% over the past year.

In terms of performance types, the Mediterranean genre is the most popular (39.7%), followed by rock (22%) and pop (11.2%). Children's shows recorded a 24.5% increase in interest. In the ranking of the most popular concerts and artists on the site, the NEXT show is in first place. It is followed by Par Tasi, "The Sixteenth Sheep", Osher Cohen, Odya, Omer Adam, Shlomo Artzi, and the musical "Chicago". In ninth place is Omri, who entered the top ten for the first time this year, and Tuna closes it in tenth place.

Also notable this year was the interest in Ben Tzur's concerts, which, according to the site's data, rose by 3,600% compared to the previous year, and Mor Ravii's, which rose by 2,413%. Geographically, 54.2% of the interest in concerts is in the central region, with Tel Aviv leading. Among the most sought-after concert venues are Menora Mivtachim Arena, Caesarea Amphitheater, Barby, Ramat Gan Stadium, and the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center. 23.7% of concerts take place in amphitheaters and open venues.

In terms of audience segmentation, 63% of those interested on the site are women compared to 37% men, and 58% are aged 45 and over, compared to 42% aged 18–44.

Yesterday, Media Forest, a company that provides monitoring, recording, and analytics solutions for radio and television broadcasts, published the annual Israeli chart summarizing the year Tashpav. The data is based on broadcasts on Galgalatz, Galei Tzahal, Kan stations, and regional radio stations.

In the list of the 50 most played Israeli songs on radio stations, the song "Science Fiction" by Eyal Golan reached first place. It is followed by Par Tasi with "Strange Bird", "Michelle" by Noam Batan, "Rolex and Cap" by Eden Ben Zaken, and "Everyone is a Thief" by Osher Cohen. Tasi closes the top ten with "She Doesn't Know Why".

Eyal Golan leads the list of the 50 most played Israeli artists on radio stations. In second place is Omer Adam, followed by Par Tasi, Sarit Hadad, Odya, Itay Levi, Shlomo Artzi, Eden Ben Zaken, Osher Cohen, and in tenth place is Shlomi Shabat. The list of the 10 most played Israeli male singers is again led by Golan, followed by Omer Adam, Par Tasi, Itay Levi, Shlomo Artzi, Osher Cohen, Shlomi Shabat, Arik Einstein, and Moshe Peretz in tenth place. The list of the 10 most played Israeli female singers is led by Sarit Hadad in first place. Following her: Odya, Eden Ben Zaken, Agam Buhbut, Noa Kirel, Yehudit Ravitz, Rita, Margalit Tzanani, Zehava Ben, and Gali Atari in tenth place.

In the list of the 10 most played Israeli ensembles, the Idan Raichel Project leads in first place. The title of Breakthrough of the Year was won by singer Ofek Adank.
