The four suspended players of Ironi Tiberias — Guy Hadida, David Keltjens, Niv Gottlieb, and Yonatan Teper, who has finished his contract with the club — are close to closing a plea bargain in the IV drip affair.

The agreement currently under consideration by the players involves a four-month suspension, with the athletes having already served nearly a month and a half.

Attempts are still being made to reduce the punishment to three months, while the National Anti-Doping Agency initially sought a six-month ban. As of now, the proposed agreement stands at a four-month suspension.

The agency is also in talks with Shlomi Vadrero, the fitness coach of Tiberias at the time of the incident, who may reach an agreement on a six-month suspension as early as the coming week.

The individual expected to receive the harshest punishment is coach Eliran Chodeda, who, even under the most lenient agreement, will be suspended for one year.
