Orian Goren, the 17-year-old Israeli talent playing for Barcelona, continues to earn the trust of the coaching staff: he will remain in the senior squad and travel with the team to the training camp in Italy. Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has made several cuts to the roster, sending some players to the reserve team, but Goren has secured his place with the senior squad.

At the end of last month, Goren, who has been a standout in Barcelona's youth setup, made his senior debut in a 4:1 victory against Club Esportiu Europa. He also came off the bench in a friendly match against Birmingham City, which ended 2:2 in regulation time before the English side won 3:2 on penalties. Following the camp, Goren received praise from Flick. When asked about three La Masia graduates — Brima Tunckara, Javi Aspart, and Orian Goren — the German manager stated:

"They have surprised me a lot so far in this camp. They have huge quality and they prove it every day."

It should be noted that despite the confidence shown in him during the pre-season, several reports in Spain suggest that Goren is expected to play for Barcelona's reserve team in the upcoming season.
