Hezbollah launched explosive drones - IDF responded with strikes in Nabatieh
During the night, Hezbollah launched two explosive drones toward IDF forces in the Ali al-Tahar ridge area. Soldiers fired at one of the drones and intercepted it; there were no casualties. In response, the IDF struck infrastructure of the organization in the Nabatieh area that was used for planning and directing terror plots.
During the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, Hezbollah launched two explosive drones toward IDF forces in the Ali al-Tahar ridge area. Soldiers fired at one of the drones and intercepted it. There were no casualties among our forces.
In response to this action, the IDF struck infrastructure of the terrorist organization in the Nabatieh area in southern Lebanon. The targeted infrastructure was used by the organization's terrorists to plan and direct terror plots to harm IDF forces in the security zone and the citizens of the State of Israel. These strikes were carried out to neutralize an immediate threat.
The IDF stated: "IDF forces will continue to operate in the ridge area and will not allow terrorists in the sector to promote and carry out terror plots against our forces."
"The IDF is operating now and will continue to operate with force against the repeated attempts by the terrorist organization Hezbollah to harm our forces," the statement added.
Earlier this morning, an alert was activated in the area of HaGoshrim, Ma'ayan Baruch, and Kfar Yuval in the Upper Galilee following concerns of a hostile aircraft infiltration. After several hours, it was reported that it was a false alarm.
