MK Nissim Vaturi: "Palestinian water sold in Israel could be poisoned"

At the same time, the MK called on the Ministry of Health to intervene immediately and freeze imports at once.
"Water bottles that are produced in the Palestinian Authority and distributed for sale in Israel could be poisoned," claimed Vaturi, while presenting photos of the products appearing under various names. Among the names appearing on the bottles: "Island Pure", "Aqua Sham" and others.
On the label, where product details appear, it is written that the source of the water is the "Bab al-Ain well". According to Vaturi, the Ministry of Health considers water a highly sensitive product, and those arriving from the Palestinian Authority are not monitored under sufficient quality standards and, furthermore, could be poisoned. Vaturi called on the Ministry of Health to take action and stop the import of these water bottles immediately.
