Good news for beneficiaries ahead of the Tishrei holidays: the National Insurance Institute (NII) has announced that payment dates for a range of benefits will be advanced throughout September, in preparation for Rosh Hashanah and Sukkot.
According to an official statement released by the NII, unemployment benefits and income support for September will be paid on September 8, rather than the originally scheduled September 14—a six-day advancement.
Later in the month, a second advancement will take place for the Sukkot holiday: long-term benefits will be paid on September 22, 2026, instead of the usual 28th of the month, also six days ahead of schedule. The benefits to be paid early include:
