The month of August is coming to an end and, as every month, the National Insurance Institute has distributed grants and benefits to hundreds of thousands of Israelis eligible for money from the state. The ice website clarifies for you: which grants and benefits are still expected to enter your account by the end of August, when will you receive the benefits, and how much has the average payment increased?
The first benefits that entered your account this month were unemployment benefits and income support, which were paid to those eligible on 12.8. The reporting and payment date for insurance premiums for the self-employed and employers falls on 15.8, but in fact, the reporting date fell on a Saturday, so it changed and the reporting date was delayed by one day, falling this month on 16.8.
Likewise, the child allowance entered the account of those eligible on 20.8. The rest of the benefits are supposed to be paid on 28.8.
These are benefits that include old-age pensions, survivor's pensions, disability, disabled child, special services for the severely disabled, mobility, work injury, alimony, rehabilitation, nursing, and prisoners of Zion. In addition, payments to victims of hostilities are also expected to be transferred on this date.
As is known, the average benefits paid have jumped since the beginning of 2026 due to the rise in the Consumer Price Index by a rate of up to 2.64%. The average benefit amount for all types of benefits after the last update is about 5,280 shekels.
