Lapid to Host Opposition Leaders in Tel Aviv for Strategy Talks

Opposition leader Yair Lapid will host the heads of the change bloc this coming Saturday night, including Naftali Bennett, Gadi Eisenkot, Avigdor Lieberman, and Yair Golan, for a high-level meeting at his home in Tel Aviv to coordinate political strategies.

The meeting comes amid ongoing efforts to bolster cooperation among opposition parties ahead of the upcoming Knesset elections. Earlier today, Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Lieberman met with Yashar! chairman Gadi Eisenkot to discuss differing electoral strategies within the bloc.

Tensions within the opposition have surfaced as party leaders trade blame over declining poll numbers. Associates of Lieberman and Bennett claim that Eisenkot's leadership alienates right-wing voters, with some alleging his candidate list resembles former defectors. Meanwhile, Eisenkot maintains that right-wing voter retention is the responsibility of Bennett and Lieberman, attributing poll drops to a shift of right-wing voters toward Ofer Winter.

This gathering at Lapid's residence is expected to kick off a series of strategic summits aimed at unifying opposition efforts and streamlining campaign preparations.
