"The victim underwent three resuscitations": A Dimona man stabbed a person who tried to resolve a conflict

The State Attorney's Office filed an indictment in the Be'er Sheva District Court against Lidor Kamikar (26) from Dimona, after he stabbed a person who tried to resolve a conflict between him and his friend.

According to the indictment, filed by Adv. Avi Biton from the Southern District Attorney's Office, a conflict had arisen between Kamikar and the victim's friend about a month prior. Despite mediation efforts, Kamikar contacted the friend by phone earlier this month, hurling curses and shouting. The victim asked his friend to avoid a direct confrontation, hoping to resolve the differences peacefully.

Later, the victim contacted Kamikar, and they arranged to meet near the home of Kamikar's mother in Dimona. According to the indictment, Kamikar arrived armed with a knife, with the intention of killing the victim. During a heated verbal altercation, Kamikar pulled out the knife and stabbed the victim twice in the heart area and once in the lung area.

The victim, who was mortally wounded, collapsed and was evacuated to Soroka Hospital. He was hospitalized in an unconscious state, sedated and ventilated, after requiring three life-saving resuscitations as a direct result of the severe stab wounds.

Immediately after the incident, Kamikar returned to his mother's house and took active steps to obstruct justice and hide evidence. He threw his shoes into the trash, and a gallon of bleach was later found in the bathroom.

Following a comprehensive investigation by the Dimona police, Kamikar was charged with attempted murder and obstruction of justice. Prosecutors have requested that the defendant be held in custody until the end of the proceedings.
