The acquisition deal for Mafat was finalized this Monday evening. Calcalist has learned that Lahav El-Ar and Mizrahi Tefahot Invest have signed an agreement in which the bank will invest 99 million shekels to acquire 15% of the company's shares, with an option to purchase an additional 5% for 42-46 million shekels. The transaction reflects a post-money valuation of 659 million shekels for the waste collection firm.

Lahav El-Ar, controlled by Eli Lahav, acquired control of the company four years ago, and this deal marks a sevenfold increase in value for Lahav. The company operates across the entire waste collection chain. Its significant assets include a transfer station in the Sharon region used for receiving and treating bulky, household, and industrial waste. Additionally, the company maintains a fleet of 230 vehicles and a 70-dunam landfill site in Kedumim.

In the first quarter, Mafat generated 121 million shekels in revenue, pointing to an annual revenue of nearly half a billion shekels. The projected EBITDA for 2026 stands at 88 million shekels. The company is managed by Eli Eliyahu.
