Carrefour CEO makes a first move: Moshe Davi will manage the chain's PR system
Moshe Davi enters the PR system of retail chains in Israel for the first time, as Davi Communications will manage the public relations system of the Carrefour chain in Israel. This is the first significant move by the incoming CEO, Inbal Harson.

Last May, the Carrefour chain underwent a serious shake-up with the appointment of a new CEO: Inbal Harson from the Central Bottling Company, while Michael Luboshitz was appointed co-chairman together with the CEO of Electra Consumer Products, the parent company, Zvika Schwimmer.
Carrefour, which is approaching its initial public offering (IPO) by leaps and bounds, is preparing for the unique move that will take place this coming November, and the loss of control by the Zalkind family over the international supermarket chain in Israel. The Zalkind brothers hold Carrefour through a chain of companies: the holding company "Elco", which controls "Electra Consumer Products", which holds 49% of Carrefour.
Thus, the new CEO took office last month, and one of her first moves was the appointment of a regulated PR firm, especially after the criticism the chain received upon its entry into the country's food basket by Minister of Economy Nir Barkat and others. Even before the CEO's arrival, the head of the spokesperson system, Yarden Daida, left her position after a two-year term last July.
For Moshe Davi's firm, Davi Communications, this is a first entry into the field of retail chains in Israel, some of which still prefer internal spokesmanship or internal management of the system (Rami Levy and Shufersal, which parted ways with Rani Rahav), however, the rest do have external PR managing the system. At Davi Communications, the system will be led by Deputy CEO Marina Digmi.
This is an achievement for Moshe Davi only a short time after he received the prestigious AliExpress budget and the management of the strategy ahead of the massive entry of the Chinese giant.
