The Jordanian channel reporting in Hebrew: "This is not a show"
"Arab Sky News", a Jordanian platform on Facebook, publishes reports in Hebrew, including videos of presenters addressing the Israeli public. The digital platform is active in other languages, including Italian and Chinese: "Ambitions that cross borders, backed by Jordanian capital"
A new Facebook page, named "Arab Sky News", offers the Israeli public and Hebrew speakers the opportunity to stay updated on news via a Jordanian platform. Since launching last month, the page has been publishing news updates and videos featuring two Hebrew-speaking presenters: Yahya Matalka and Shahad Nuseirat.
Most content focuses on events related to Israel, as well as broader regional developments, including Syria and the Gaza Strip. On Wednesday, the channel published a video regarding Iranian missile launches toward Jordan last Monday. Presenter Matalka stated:
"Eight missiles penetrated Jordan's airspace in the morning, a few days ago, but none of them reached their target. Jordan's air defense systems were on full alert: accurate identification, quick response, and successful interception. According to the Jordanian Armed Forces, the air defense systems managed to destroy the missiles before they could pose any danger to citizens or property."
Although early feedback suggested the platform use AI, the quality of the Hebrew content and presentation is steadily improving. "Arab Sky" was launched in Jordan ten months ago to operate regional and international news systems in various languages. The platform is also active in Italian and Chinese.
Daham Matqal al-Fawaz, a Jordanian commentator on Middle Eastern affairs, told Ynet:
"The platform was launched as a digital media project with ambitions that cross borders. It is backed by Jordanian capital, owned by Ahmad Aqab at-Tib and engineer Nadim al-Fukaha, alongside a team of media professionals. The platform has successfully expanded to appeal to audiences in their own languages and dialects—from Iraq, Syria, Egypt, and Lebanon to Morocco and Algeria, and now includes Hebrew. It has expanded its reach to the US and Europe, evolving from a young Jordanian platform into an Arab digital media project aspiring to global influence."
In December 2025, owner Ahmad Aqab at-Tib wrote:
"The Arab region needs a platform that generates knowledge rather than just consuming it, one that presents a conscious picture of events and resets the relationship between the journalist and the public based on trust, depth, and quality. This project is a calculated step, not just a show, but a real foundation for a platform capable of competing in the vast media landscape."
Notably, another major Jordanian platform, "Roya News", has also launched a Hebrew-language website. It describes itself as a "Jordanian media outlet with Arab and international dimensions, active in the Palestinian territories, following political, economic, social, and humanitarian events in the Middle East to convey them to the Israeli public." In recent years, several networks aligned with the Iranian axis have also opened Hebrew channels to spread anti-Israeli and anti-American propaganda, such as PRESSTV.
