With just ten days remaining until the 27 October 2026 Knesset elections, the political and media landscape in Israel is experiencing unprecedented volatility. Polling discrepancies across television networks have reached record highs, splitting media outlets into two distinct camps regarding the expected outcome.

Polling Discrepancies and Campaign Trails

While channels 14 and 15 project a decisive victory for the bloc led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, channels 11, 12, 13, and 16 present a contrasting scenario. In the latter polls, the Likud party hovers around 20 mandates, showing a slight advantage for the alternative bloc led by Gadi Eisenkot. Meanwhile, politicians are intensifying their grassroots campaigns in crowded venues across the country.

MK Naama Lazimi of The Democrats (HaDemokratim), led by Yair Golan, visited the HaOman 17 club, where she addressed party supporters from the DJ booth. Conversely, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Yariv Levin experienced a hostile reception during a public outing.

Yariv Levin Faces Hostility at Bloomfield Stadium

Minister Yariv Levin attended a football match at Bloomfield Stadium between Hapoel Tel Aviv and Ironi Tiberias. Despite Hapoel securing a dramatic 1-0 victory with an 80th-minute penalty after playing with ten men, Levin faced severe verbal abuse from supporters in the stands.

"How are you not ashamed to come here? 1,200 dead in a single day, so many Hapoel Tel Aviv fans died because of you," protesters shouted.

Levin's long-standing support for Hapoel Tel Aviv has historically drawn public attention due to the contrast between the club's traditional left-wing associations and his senior leadership position within the Likud.
