Kardashian explained that after her turbulent separation from West in 2021, and aside from a brief romance with Pete Davidson, she chose to remain single for five years. She noted that the lengthy break was a wonderful opportunity to focus on her four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—and her professional endeavors.
