Five teenagers aged 14 to 16 were arrested on Thursday in Kfar Saba on suspicion of the gang rape of a 14-year-old girl. According to the investigation, the suspects allegedly forced the victim to consume cannabis before repeatedly assaulting her in a neighborhood bomb shelter over multiple occasions.
The case came to light after the girl, accompanied by her parents, filed an official complaint at a local police station. She stated that she had befriended the suspects during summer vacation and regularly hung out with them in the communal shelter.
Police launched an immediate investigation and apprehended the five minors. During questioning, the suspects admitted to bringing cannabis to the gatherings and engaging in sexual activity with the girl, but claimed the encounters were consensual.
The investigation remains ongoing, with police planning to conduct confrontations between the complainant and the suspects to clarify the circumstances of the allegations.
