Kane completed the milestone in the 39th minute, converting calmly from the penalty spot in Bayern's 7-0 demolition of Union Berlin. By doing so, he shattered the previous record held by Dieter Muller, who needed 129 appearances for FC Cologne in the 1970s to reach the century mark.

The English striker did not stop at one. In the second half, he found the back of the net again to net his 101st league goal, driving Bayern to a crushing victory that temporarily lifted them to the top of the table. Speaking after the match, Kane expressed his pride.
