The Joint List announced on Thursday that it will submit its recommendation to President Isaac Herzog to endorse Gadi Eisenkot as candidate for prime minister. The decision was made unanimously following consultations among the faction's components.

In an official statement, the Joint List emphasized that the move aims to prevent the return of Benjamin Netanyahu and his government to power, in response to public demand from their constituency. The faction noted that while they are determined to unseat Netanyahu, the opposition camp led by Eisenkot has yet to demonstrate the necessary resolve to counter Netanyahu's policies and combat incitement against Arab citizens.

The delegation, including figures such as Ahmad Tibi, is scheduled to arrive at the President's Residence. This endorsement follows a similar announcement by Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Lieberman earlier in the week, as consultations continue with various political parties.
