Six young individuals, including five minors, were arrested in Jerusalem on suspicion of carrying out a violent lynching and robbery against a 29-year-old resident of Abu Tor, stealing his mobile phone. The court extended their detention until Sunday.

Officers from the David District in the Jerusalem Police launched an investigation following a complaint regarding a violent assault and robbery near the Jaffa Gate promenade. According to the investigation, the victim was attacked by multiple suspects who robbed him of his device and fled. He was evacuated to a hospital in mild condition.

Following the report, police deployed technological means and conducted widespread searches, quickly locating and arresting four minor suspects. The stolen phone was found during a search of one of the suspects.

Subsequent investigative steps led to the arrest of two additional suspects, a minor and an adult. In total, six suspects were arrested and transferred for further questioning, and a court extended their remand until Sunday.
