Israeli Tourist Dies in Thailand Motorcycle Crash

A 43-year-old Israeli tourist died in a motorcycle accident in the Krabi province of southern Thailand on Saturday. Local authorities are investigating the exact circumstances of the crash.

ZAKA's international division director, Baruch Nidam, stated that organization representatives immediately began handling the case in coordination with local Thai authorities. Efforts are currently focused on releasing the body and arranging its repatriation to Israel for burial.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry issued a statement expressing deep sorrow and confirming that the Israeli consul in Bangkok and the Department for Israelis Abroad are assisting the grieving family with the necessary procedures.
