United States President Donald Trump intervened once again regarding the severe riots unfolding across France, blaming immigrants for the widespread destruction and looting in Paris and numerous other cities.

"France is burning!", Trump wrote on Truth Social, adding that immigration has severely impacted the nation. Vice President JD Vance echoed similar criticisms, stating that Western liberals imported major integration challenges.

Scale of Destruction and Casualties

Following mass protests against the cost of living and the deterioration of public services, violent riots erupted across France. Authorities reported that at least 2,000 people were arrested and approximately 600 police officers and security personnel were injured during the weekend clashes.

The French Chamber of Commerce estimated that at least 1,500 businesses nationwide were damaged, causing hundreds of millions of euros in losses. In Paris, entire streets were systematically vandalized, with rioters targeting pharmacies, optical shops, and clothing stores.

Historical Buildings Targeted

In Limoges, the historic city hall built in 1883 was set on fire by masked rioters, causing its dramatic collapse. Local authorities and right-wing politicians expressed deep shock over the incident, describing it as an allegory of the republic in flames.

Emmanuel Macron's Address

Amid mounting pressure and criticism regarding his response to the unrest, French President Emmanuel Macron announced a special televised address to the nation to address the weekend riots and restore public order.
