Israeli Defense Firms Showcase at Polish Exhibition Amid Global Challenges
Twenty-one Israeli defense firms are exhibiting at Poland's MSPO exhibition, defying French restrictions. Meanwhile, the Pentagon addresses budget gaps due to Iran operations.

Despite recent attempts by French President Emmanuel Macron to restrict Israeli defense companies, 21 Israeli firms are currently exhibiting at the major MSPO defense exhibition in Poland. Among them are industry giants like Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries, alongside mid-sized companies like Aeronautics and Orbit, and smaller innovators like D-Fend and Roboteam.
US Defense Budget Challenges
Meanwhile, the US Department of Defense is grappling with how to secure funding to cover extraordinary operational costs stemming from ongoing military engagements with Iran in 2026. The Pentagon faces budget deficits driven by six months of intense operations related to Iran, extensive National Guard domestic deployments, and rising fuel costs. The White House previously indicated a required 67.1 billion dollar supplement to the 2026 defense budget, while Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth noted that operations against Iran would demand an additional 37.5 billion dollars through September.
Singapore's F-35 Deployment
Singapore is preparing to deploy its newly acquired F-35 stealth fighters. Under a 4.059 billion dollar contract for 20-fighter jet fleet, 12 F-35B aircraft will be stationed at Fort Smith Air Force Base in Arkansas for pilot training, starting in fiscal year 2026. The remaining eight aircraft will be deployed to Singapore's Tengah Air Base starting in the final quarter of fiscal year 2029.
Elbit Systems Unveils Swarming Technologies
Following global trends in unmanned systems, Elbit Systems' subsidiary Fuse has unveiled a series of One2Many swarming drone systems. Powered by the Dominion-X operating system, these platforms enable coordinated swarm attacks and autonomous missions in GPS-denied environments, supporting tactical reconnaissance, targeting, and logistical operations.
