In response to the attack, Israeli Air Force jets struck a series of terrorist infrastructures belonging to Hezbollah. The targeted sites included locations used by the terrorist group to launch explosive drones and anti-tank missiles at IDF troops, alongside other regional terror infrastructure. The strikes aimed to disrupt militant positioning and remove immediate threats to troops operating in the sector.
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit emphasized the military's determination to counter any attempts at aggression, stating that the armed forces will continue working to eliminate immediate threats. Officials reiterated that any use of force from Lebanese territory aimed at harming Israeli citizens or IDF troops will be met with a forceful response, while stressing that the military remains committed to the Israel-Lebanon ceasefire understandings.
