Central Command Establishes Special Incitement Unit

The Israel Defense Forces Central Command has intensified its operations against digital radicalization, establishing a specialized unit to monitor, intercept, and neutralize online incitement across Palestinian social media networks. Operating under a strict zero-tolerance policy, the newly formed incitement tracking cell connects digital intelligence directly to tactical field operations.

Following the October 7 attacks, the military command recognized a sharp surge in online propaganda designed to inspire lone-wolf attacks and glorify terrorism. The unit tracks profiles, videos, and symbols promoting militant groups, transforming virtual threats into immediate physical interventions.

"Anyone who praises or glorifies an attack, presents Hamas as a solution, or waves terrorist symbols—we know how to reach them," a senior Central Command official stated.

Tactical Raids and Mass Arrests

Operating in close coordination with the Israel Border Police and the Judea and Samaria District Police, security forces have arrested over 600 key agitators who have been brought to trial for spreading terrorist content and expressing support for the 2023 massacres. Enforcement metrics have continued to rise steadily, with 215 arrests recorded since the beginning of the current year.

Recent operations targeted extensive propaganda infrastructures, leading to synchronized night raids across approximately 70 incitement hubs. Security forces have also conducted over 1,000 operational activities, field investigations, and formal warning sessions against suspects linked to extremist activities.

Dismantling Infrastructure and Memorials

Beyond digital surveillance, military engineering units have launched targeted operations to dismantle monuments, statues, and banners glorifying deceased militants across the West Bank. Authorities removed roughly 30 signs and public symbols dedicated to terrorists within a single week.

Simultaneously, security forces are striking at the financial foundations supporting extremist networks. Since the outbreak of hostilities, authorities have shut down more than 24 charitable associations suspected of funding terrorism, sealed over 40 currency exchange houses, and closed multiple printing presses utilized for producing propaganda materials.
