IDF Eliminates Hamas Commander Muhammad Suleiman Bayouk in Khan Yunis Strike
The IDF confirmed the elimination of Hamas commander Muhammad Suleiman Bayouk in Khan Yunis, alongside other Nukhba operatives involved in the October 7 attacks and ceasefire violations.
The IDF confirmed today (Saturday) that military forces eliminated Muhammad Suleiman Bayouk, a Hamas military wing commander, in Khan Yunis on Thursday. The terrorist participated in the October 7 massacre and operated throughout the war to plant explosive devices across the Gaza Strip targeting troops in the area.
The IDF stated that the terrorist advanced terror plots against soldiers and Israeli citizens, worked to increase the operational readiness of Hamas operatives, and sought to rebuild the organization's capabilities in systematic violation of the ceasefire.
Southern Command forces are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue operating to remove any immediate threat, the military added.
Only last Thursday, the IDF reported the elimination of Sharif Shadi Ibrahim Labad in the northern Gaza Strip, a Hamas Nukhba terrorist who raided the Erez Crossing during the October 7 attacks. In another strike, Youssef Saad al-Din Rashed Za'im, a Hamas Nukhba commander, was eliminated. According to the IDF, the two recently operated to advance terror plots and rehabilitate organization capabilities.
A day earlier, the IDF announced that it had eliminated Jihad Samih Mahmoud Ismail, head of a Hamas Nukhba cell, a week prior in Khan Yunis. Ismail raided Israel on October 7 and participated in the abduction of armored corps soldiers Omer Neutra and Oz Daniel, who were killed, as well as Nimrod Cohen.
