Hapoel Tel Aviv Fans Hit With Heavy Fines Near Teddy Stadium
Hundreds of Hapoel Tel Aviv fans received heavy parking fines and vehicle towing by police outside Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem, sparking widespread anger among supporters.

Hundreds of Hapoel Tel Aviv football fans faced heavy fines and vehicle towing while attending a match at Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem. Police issued hundreds of tickets ranging from 500 to 1,000 shekels for illegal parking along main roads and intersections near the venue, while inner street violations incurred 250-shekel penalties.
Fans expressed widespread frustration upon returning to their vehicles after the game, questioning the enforcement approach. One supporter described seeing a long line of cars towed or penalized along the route leading from Teddy Stadium toward the old Malha Arena, calling the experience unacceptable.
Supporters have contacted club management and are exploring potential class action appeals to cancel the tickets. However, past incidents involving Beitar Jerusalem fans facing similar penalties around the stadium suggest that overturning the fines remains highly unlikely.
