Geo Mobility offers three years of free home charging for Geely E5 buyers in Israel through a partnership with Super Power, providing up to 250 kWh of monthly credits.
Geely's importer in Israel, Geo Mobility, announced a marketing campaign offering three years of free home charging for buyers of the Geely E5 electric crossover. The importer has partnered with Super Power, an electricity supplier belonging to Electra, to launch a dedicated plan under the "Geely Power" branding that grants a refund for home charging.
The Fine Print and Night Rates
The Geely Power plan is based on a night-rate structure, providing credits for electricity consumption between 23:00 and 07:00. While these are optimal hours for charging an electric vehicle without overloading the home electrical grid, suppliers cannot isolate car charging from general household consumption. Consequently, the credit applies to all electrical appliances running during those hours, including air conditioners and lighting.

Value Calculation
With a monthly cap of 250 kWh, heavy drivers might exceed the quota quickly. If the limit is surpassed, customers remain on Electra's night plan, receiving a 21% discount on nighttime consumption during weekdays. Calculated at a domestic tariff of approximately 0.64 ILS per kWh, maximizing the benefit saves about 160 ILS per month, totaling roughly 5,700 ILS over the three-year period.
