Fox Group and Celebrities Treat IDF Soldiers to Falafel at Southern Base
Fox Group and Falafel BaRiVua organized a morale-boosting food truck event at an IDF base in southern Israel, with celebrities and major business leaders volunteering to serve troops.
A moment of respite and a taste of home: Fox Group, in partnership with the Falafel BaRiVua chain, held a moving appreciation event at an IDF base in southern Israel on Wednesday. Soldiers in regular and reserve service received free falafel meals and drinks, expressing gratitude for their daily dedication to national security.
The initiative was led by Harel Wiesel, CEO and owner of Fox Group, who was joined by company executives and volunteer celebrities. Model Anna Zak, singer Aviv Geffen, football star Eran Zahavi, and guitarist Avi Singolda surprised the troops, chatted with them, and helped distribute food from the dedicated food truck. Master Chef alumni Gal Kaspers and Nissim Zelait also joined the volunteer effort.
The southern base event is part of an ongoing wider initiative led by Fox Group over recent months. Major Israeli companies have joined the project, including Bank Hapoalim, Bituach Yashir, Isrotel, Discount Bank, Ofer Malls, Strauss, and Israel Canada. As part of this collaborative effort, a food truck travels between various IDF bases across the country, offering soldiers moments of morale and support from the home front.
