Sharp fluctuations in Bank of Jerusalem stock amid disappearance case in Vienna
The stock has seen declines and gains since the morning hours, while a gag order has been placed on the investigation into the disappearance of Meli and Liel Yaalomi. The bank clarifies after an inspection: "No findings were found indicating any unusual activity regarding the bank's funds or assets."

Bank of Jerusalem stock has been experiencing sharp fluctuations on the stock exchange since the morning hours, following a series of declines and gains during trading. The court, at the request of the Lahav 433 unit, has imposed a gag order on details regarding the investigation into the disappearance of Meli and Liel Yaalomi in Vienna.
The Bank of Jerusalem stated that after an internal inspection, no findings were found indicating any unusual activity regarding the bank's funds or assets. Sources at the bank noted that the individual is a long-time employee and clarified that there is no suspicion of embezzlement.
Bank of Jerusalem CEO Yair Kaplan addressed the employees following the media reports:
"In recent days we have been witnessing articles in the media about the disappearance of Meli Yaalomi. We understand that such an event raises concerns and uncertainty."
Kaplan emphasized that, except for the fact that she is a bank employee, no connection was found between the event and the bank. He also reminded employees that a gag order is in place, and therefore it is strictly forbidden to pass any information on the subject to any party.
The investigation into the disappearance of the mother and daughter was transferred to the National Investigation Unit at Lahav 433, after an assessment crystallized in Israel that it is likely not an event on a nationalistic background. At the same time, authorities in Austria continue the search for the two and the investigation into the circumstances of their disappearance. The family, for its part, demands that authorities continue to examine the possibility of a nationalistic motive until both are located.
