Fiverr Beats Q3 Estimates with $90.9M Revenue, Raises Full-Year Guidance
Fiverr reported strong Q3 2026 results with $90.9 million in revenue and $0.44 EPS, beating Wall Street expectations and raising its full-year guidance.

Fiverr International (NYSE: FVRR) reported its financial results for the third quarter of 2026, showcasing the company's ability to navigate a shifting macroeconomic landscape and adapt to disruptions in traditional search engine traffic by leveraging artificial intelligence.
Ahead of the earnings release, market sentiment was relatively pessimistic due to concerns over the impact of generative AI on the freelance industry. Wall Street analysts anticipated revenue of approximately $83.85 million, alongside an expected non-GAAP net income of $0.29 per share. However, Fiverr outperformed expectations, closing the quarter with revenue of $90.9 million and an impressive non-GAAP net income of $0.44 per share on a basic diluted basis, and $0.43 per share fully diluted. This positive earnings beat supported the company's stock on Wall Street, surging by roughly 11.5% in after-hours trading.
Despite beating analyst forecasts, a year-over-year comparison still reflects broader economic pressures. Revenue for the third quarter of 2026 reached $90.9 million, marking a 15.8% decline compared to $107.9 million in the same period of 2025. Marketplace revenue dropped by 24.7% to $55.4 million, and the number of annual active buyers fell to 2.4 million as of the end of September 2026, representing a 25.8% decrease year-over-year.
Growth Drivers and Strategic Adaptation
Amid these declines, an encouraging metric emerged in average spend per buyer, which climbed 12.9% to reach $373, indicating that remaining customers are commissioning higher-value services on the platform. The marketplace take rate over the trailing twelve months rose to 28.2%, and the company reported free cash flow of $9.4 million for the quarter.
Fiverr CEO and founder Micha Kaufman explained that the search ecosystem is transitioning from traditional methods to generative AI search (GEO) and automated workflows. To prepare for this future, Fiverr is upgrading its systems with technological tools like Knowledge Graph and expanding Mira, an AI-powered matching tool designed to improve conversion rates.
Chief Financial Officer Esti Levi-Dadon highlighted that the company's lean operational model and robust balance sheet—featuring $316.2 million in cash and investments—allowed Fiverr to surpass forecasts and maintain a high non-GAAP gross margin of 84.4%.
Outlook and Executive Changes
Buoyed by strong performance and successful marketing campaigns, Fiverr's management raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $374 million to $380 million. Adjusted EBITDA for the year is projected between $61 million and $65 million. Nevertheless, the company issued a cautious outlook for 2027, warning of steeper traffic declines due to AI search shifts.
Additionally, Fiverr announced a leadership change, stating that Chief Business Officer Jingin Qian is stepping down after deciding not to relocate to Israel. The company is currently conducting an advanced search for a replacement based in Israel.
