Discussing relations with Israel, al-Masri criticized military interventions and called for direct diplomatic engagement. He argued that a strong, stable Syria serves Israel's security interests far better than a fractured or weakened state.
"Israel should see this moment as an opportunity, not a threat. Damascus can be a gateway for regional peace, not a source of regional insecurity."
Al-Masri also emphasized the importance of safeguarding minority communities, including Druze and Kurdish populations, within a unified, sovereign Syrian framework without external tutelage.
