Damaged by an Iranian missile, Odem Kindergarten reopens in a new facility

The children of 'Odem' Kindergarten in Beit Shemesh and the educational staff opened the school year this morning, Tuesday, in a new facility. The kindergarten's original building sustained damage from an Iranian missile strike during the war. The move to the new building was made possible following rapid preparation work carried out ahead of the start of the year, with the goal of ensuring the children's return to their routine.
Following the damage to the original structure, a new assessment was required to find and prepare a suitable alternative location that would allow the school year to open as scheduled, without delays for families and staff. The new building was adapted to the needs of the kindergarten, and this morning, teachers welcomed the children to the updated learning environment.
Mayor of Beit Shemesh, Shmuel Greenberg, arrived this morning for a tour of the new complex to monitor the reception of the children and educational preparations. During the visit, Greenberg heard from the staff about the process of moving and adapting to the new facility. In his remarks, the mayor noted that opening the year in a building prepared especially for the children following the events of the war is an emotional milestone, and he wished the kindergarten children and staff a successful and productive school year.
