Elon Musk Plans to Rename SpaceXAI to SpaceXSI Following Trump's Directive
Elon Musk announced on X that he will rename his artificial intelligence venture following US President Donald Trump's directive to replace the term AI with Super Intelligence (SI).

Elon Musk announced on X that he plans to rename his artificial intelligence subsidiary following a directive from US President Donald Trump. The US administration decided to replace the term Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Super Intelligence (SI) in official federal documents and publications.
Responding to a user suggestion on the platform, Musk replied, "Yes, we will make the change," indicating a transition from SpaceXAI to SpaceXSI. While the announcement currently exists only as a social media post rather than an official corporate filing, Musk has shown readiness to align with the new nomenclature.
In February, Musk merged SpaceX with xAI, consolidating aerospace operations, artificial intelligence activities, the Grok chatbot, and the X social network under a single corporate umbrella. Four months later in June, SpaceX completed a historic public offering, raising $75 billion at a $1.77 trillion valuation on Nasdaq.
