El Al Israel Airlines passengers who booked flights to Tel Aviv–Prague are facing unexpected changes and frustration after the route was transferred to the subsidiary Sun Dor starting November 15. Travelers began receiving notifications stating that their flights will now be operated by Sun Dor and departed from Terminal 1 instead of Terminal 3.

While the shift aims to increase economy seating capacity, it has triggered widespread anger among customers who paid higher fares specifically for El Al's full-service experience. Passengers complain about receiving a low-cost service tier despite paying premium prices, noting the downgrades in catering, the loss of access to the El Al lounge due to the terminal relocation, and rigid cancellation policies that still require standard fees despite the company-initiated change.

Business class passengers, whose booked class is being eliminated on these flights, are offered either a full refund or a downgrade to economy with an 80% fare difference refund, though customers report conflicting information from customer service. Meanwhile, some travelers are considering a class-action lawsuit, pointing out that El Al's website continues to market flights to Prague as being operated by the parent company even after the transfer decision was finalized.
