Eisenkot Blasts Channel 14 Over Boycott of National October 7 Memorial Ceremony
Gadi Eisenkot condemned Channel 14 as a regime channel after it boycotted the national October 7 memorial ceremony, pledging his future government would ensure proper state remembrance.

Israel marked the memorial anniversary of the October 7 events on Wednesday, hosting a national remembrance ceremony initiated by October 7 families and the Kumu movement at Ganei Yehoshua. The event was broadcast across almost all major media channels, with the notable exception of Channel 14.
Gadi Eisenkot, running for prime minister, attended the ceremony and sharply criticized Channel 14 on social media, labeling it a "regime channel" for boycotting the commemoration of the victims and the solidarity that saved lives.
Eisenkot pledged that any government he leads will establish a state commission of inquiry, properly fund national memorial events, and reject what he termed the ruling party's culture of evasion and distortion.
