Drama across the Gush Dan area: police officers from the Holon station in the Ayalon district have arrested a 54-year-old local resident on suspicion of involvement in a series of incidents involving threats and property damage at two bank branches and a branch of a well-known food chain.

According to the police spokesperson, reports were received at the 100 emergency center yesterday morning regarding three cases in which knives and shell casings were placed at the entrances to these locations.

Upon receiving the reports, Tel Aviv District police officers arrived at the scenes, collected evidence, and initiated an investigation, which was assigned to the Holon station.

As part of the investigation, police carried out various forensic and technological operations. According to the police, these efforts led to the identification and arrest of the suspect.

The suspect was transferred for questioning at the Holon police station and subsequently incarcerated. This evening, police are expected to request that the court extend his detention to facilitate the ongoing investigation.
